FLock has launched two new tasks in the AI Arena closed beta on train.flock.io: Text2SQL Agent Model (Task ID: 9) and Text2SQL Agent Model for Blockchain (Task ID: 10).
SQL queries can seem intimidating and complex, especially to non-data scientists trying to retrieve and analyse information. That’s where natural language processing (NLP) comes into play. Introducing these new Web3 AI Agents, these assistants knock down the barriers and democratise access to data, empowering users to efficiently query databases without needing to understand SQL syntax.
These two tasks join our other Web3 agent tasks, which include ‘0xScope X FLock — Multilingual Query Analyzer for Scopechat’ to make Scopechat more efficient and accurate.
Text2SQL Agent Model
This task is an opportunity to help develop a model that lets users effortlessly query databases using simple, natural language commands, without the need for complex SQL syntax. Whether you’re a business analyst, data scientist, or a developer, the Text2SQL model bridges the gap between you and your data, making data retrieval intuitive and efficient.
Since training data for this task is based on some open-source Text2SQL dataset, it may contain some inaccurate queries. The task creator has done extensive cleaning and manual review for the final validation set.
The Text2SQL Agent Model task will last 31 days and complete on 20th August 00:00 UTC.
Text2SQL Agent Model for Blockchain
Some well-known blockchain data infrastructure projects will collaborate with the FLock community to create a powerful model for blockchain-related data. This project is challenging because most open-source solutions focus on traditional data schemas, which are vastly different from the structure of blockchain data.
The Text2SQL Agent Model for Blockchain is currently uninitialised. Details about this task will be revealed at a later date.
AI Arena
FLock is on a mission to democratise and decentralise AI by making model training accessible, enabling developers and data holders to make composable contributions of compute, training algorithms, and data.
We launched the AI Arena open beta in mid-May this year. AI Arena is a Kaggle-like competition where AI and ML engineers compete to fine-tune models for a given dataset. Participants stake FML — FLock’s incentivised beta token — and are rewarded or slashed based on the quality of their training and validation. It is deployed on Base Sepolia.
See our recent ‘AI Arena July Network Update’ blog for more information on traction statistics and our roadmap, including the open beta and upgraded anti-Sybil measures.
The whitelist requirement for AI Arena remains in place. Apply here. After a successful period of the closed beta, FLock will lift the whitelist requirement and launch the open beta, with proof of developer being a prerequisite.
